A memory for business decisions.

The problem

The internet is full of opinions, advice, experts and content. All of them can have value. But when you are responsible for a real business decision, an opinion from someone who has never been in a comparable situation is different from the experience of someone who made the decision and lived with the consequences.

A good adviser can analyse a market. AI can organise enormous amounts of written knowledge. HOSIAS starts somewhere else: with what actually happened to people who made the decision.

Consequences

A contributor to HOSIAS is not valuable because they automatically “know best”. One case is never universal truth. The value is simpler: I was there. I made the decision. I lived with what happened next.

You do not always need the most successful person in the room. Sometimes the most useful Experience comes from someone whose business was where yours is now — and who has already crossed the decision you are facing.

Contributors don't tell you what to do. They tell you what happened to them.

Technology

AI can help HOSIAS structure Experience, retrieve comparable situations and surface patterns, differences, contradictions and outcomes across a large body of evidence. Human Experience remains the source. HOSIAS is also not social media: there is no public people directory, no followers, and no ranking by popularity.

If someone says they raised prices by 20%, lost two clients, had 11% higher revenue three months later and still are not sure they would do it again, that uncertainty is part of the evidence. HOSIAS should not rewrite it into a cleaner story than reality.

HOSIAS starts with what actually happened.

Why it exists

HOSIAS grew from a recurring problem I kept meeting while building businesses: there was never a shortage of answers. There was a shortage of access to people who had actually faced something similar, made a choice and carried its consequences.

I wanted to be able to ask a simpler question: Who has already been where I am now, what did they do, and what happened afterwards?

That is the idea behind HOSIAS. Not replacing judgement. Giving it better Experience to work with.

The name

The name is inspired by Janina Hosiasson-Lindenbaum. HOSIAS is not presented as an implementation of her philosophy, and we do not attribute the product's ideas to her. The connection is an inspiration: serious thinking about how we reason from evidence when certainty is unavailable.

A detailed public biography is not published here yet. This product repository does not contain independently verified primary sources for her dates of study, doctoral work, or the exact scope of her published research. Those facts should be confirmed against academic sources before they appear as settled HOSIAS copy.

External verification still needed before launch copy is frozen: University of Warsaw / Lvov–Warsaw School records, doctoral record, and published scholarship on Hosiasson-Lindenbaum.

Marta [surname]

Founder, HOSIAS · Poland

I am building HOSIAS from Poland as an independent project. I am responsible for the idea, product concept, architecture and organisation of the project.

I also know the problem behind it personally. Building businesses while working, being a mother and operating with finite time and resources makes one thing very clear: you cannot research every decision forever, and you cannot afford to learn everything only from your own mistakes.

HOSIAS is being built for founders and business decision-makers at very different stages. The scale of the decision changes. The need to understand what happened to people who faced something comparable often does not.
